Pokemon Trading Card Game Card Dex
This app was developed as a way for Trading card game players to have access to their pphysical cards on the go. The user can scan in physical cards and they become registered in the app. The user can also view other cards they don't own, so they can make note of ones they may want to collect. My contribution to the project was the shader shown in the video above. It's a simple scrolling shader on a UI element and different textures are spawned into the material depending on the type of card. You can find download the app here https://www.pokemon.com/us/app/pokemon-trading-card-game-card-dex/
Hiveswap
I came on to Hiveswap to help the team at What pumpkin finish up the game. Originally I was working on implementing art assets and animations into engine. I quickly became enthralled with the team and the charm of the game however, and started to take on more and more to try to help get the game made and at the best quality. By the end of my time working on Hiveswap I had been implementing all the background animations in game, and eventually I made a tool for the artists to do this themselves. I also worked on a lot of the UI in game, implementing the assets and making it work properly. I also worked very closely with the programming team to polish up the strifes in game. I'm very proud of how far this game has come, and feel thankful to have worked on so many different aspects of the game.
Force of Elements
While working on Force of Elements I was the only technical artist. My roles including managerial duties such as explaining and pitching new ideas to other team members. I was also responsible for planning out rigging and animating characters within Spine. Although my contract was short I learned a lot and was able to help the team out with various needs.
11th Street
11th Street was a student project made in Construct. After learning Construct I realised the engine was really easy to use had had a lot of 2D platforming features I could take adavnatge of. So I decided to make a "retro" style 2D platformer in a 90's sort of style. The story being that you are a scientist who shrunk yourself by accident, and are now traversing in a busy New York alleyway, well wall really, to get back to your apartment and obtain the remedy.
